Private Aeolian Adventure

About this experience

For those who have a slight spirit of adventure, Ideal Sicily offers a private escorted day-tour of Volcano and Lipari on a private Zodiac craft.

We leave around 09.30hrs in the morning and board the craft on the nearby beach in Gioiosa Marea. From there, under the control of “Captain Lorenzo”, we head across the Aeolian waters to the Island of Vulcano and Lipari.

We spend the day circumnavigating the shores of these two beautiful islands stopping for regular swims in the crystal-clear waters. First landing for a coffee or beer and a quick stroll around Volcano then back into the boat and onto Lipari’s ancient port town for lunch (not included in the price), a wonder around the town, and a stop for the best Cannoli in Sicily.

Then back on the boat to explore some beaches only accessed by boat for a swim. After a ride around some of Lipari’s unusual rock formations, we return to the mainland shore arriving back in Gioiosa Marea around 17.00hrs.

This excursion is highly weather dependent and is subject to cancellation at late notice if weather conditions are changeable.

Prices differ according to participants which will also determine the boat size.
